I felt inspired after watching Giada At Home one afternoon and decided to try my hand at making her Cinnamon Twists. The recipe called for carmamon, but I decided against it when I found out that one small bottle costs $15! I also didn't make the dip and decided to use honey and Nutella instead because a lot of the reviews indicated that the dip was not very good. All in all, such an easy recipe and delicious treat for dessert!

Homemade Zucchini Bread
I hadn't been baking as much as I would like to because I always had to mix everything by hand. After this weekend though, I am happy to announce that I am a proud owner of a hand mixer. I am so excited to bake more cookies, cupcakes, cakes, and bread now that it will be easier! Speaking of bread, my first order of business was to try my hand at making zucchini bread. I found this recipe and absolutely loved it. The recipe produced two 4x8 loaves that were so moist and perfect!
Bake in the oven for about an hour
Risen to perfection
Popped right out of the baking pan!

Crepe Dessert
One of my favorite restaurants to dine at while in Vegas had always been the Paris buffet because of the delicious crepe desserts. Little did I know that making my own version would be so simple! With just 1 cup of flour, 2 eggs, 1/2 cup of milk, 1/2 cup of water, 1/4 tsp of salt, and 2 tbsp of melted butter, a delicious crepe is born over medium heat in a saucepan. Top that with strawberries, bananas, nutella, and cool whip, Paris is served!

Buffalo Wings
"I didn't know buffalos have wings." - Jessica Simpson on Newlyweds
Vons was having a major sale on chicken last week, so I picked up a package of party wings. I found a recipe online for buffalo wings and knew I had to try it since it received 5/5 stars with over 1,900 reviews! That is unheard of! The wings came out perfectly crispy with the right amount of spice - it was so good! Did you know that the sauce is 90% butter and hot sauce? I used Siracha and it was amazing. Not the healthiest of meals, but nevertheless, every bit worth it. And here's a little hint if you decide to try this recipe out yourself. When the chicken floats to the top during its deep fry (yes, in oil), it's ready to be taken out! Enjoy!
