It's been a quiet weekend spent consumed in my own thoughts.  My only productive output in the past 60 hours is this simple art created to remind me to stay faithful through it all.

Beautiful Damask

About a month ago, my dear friend requested a painting from me in hopes of adding a little bit of warmth to her white walls in her new office (congratulations, again!).  I recently discovered how beautiful Damask designs are and was inspired to create a painting for her that would incorporate these designs.  Here's the finished piece!

Homemade Chicken Pot Pie

Tonight I tried a new recipe and it was yums!  I never knew that making a chicken pot pie would be so easy.  It took less than 15 mins to prepare and 30 mins in the oven.  I'm definitely going to be making this delicious meal again!

Three Little Ladies

These three little ladies always bring a smile to my face.  Thank you Can, for letting me be a part of their precious lives.

Rustic Leaves and Critters

During the holidays, I worked on a couple paintings for gifting purposes. In the first painting, I was aiming for a more rustic feel and used a real leaf I found outside to stamp the leaves onto the background canvas. The second painting is an extension of this fun creation.
